Crispy Parmesan Truffle Fries

Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 2 tbsp  olive oil
  • 1 ½  tsp  truffle oil
  • ½  cup  grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp  garlic powder
  • 1 tsp  smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp  chopped fresh parsley  optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven or Air Fryer:
    Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) or set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

  • Prepare the Potatoes:
    Wash and peel the potatoes if desired, then cut them into thin fries (about ¼-inch thick). For an even crispier texture, soak the cut fries in cold water for 30 minutes, then dry thoroughly.

Bake or Air Fry:

  • Oven Method: Spread the fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

  • Air Fryer Method: Arrange fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 20–25 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.

  • Add the Finishing Touches:
    Transfer the cooked fries to a clean mixing bowl. Drizzle with truffle oil, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and toss gently to coat.

  • Garnish and Serve:
    Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley for an extra pop of color and freshness. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, such as garlic aioli or ketchup.
